My Mantra in Europe

“I am in Europe. I am in [current city]. I am [current activity]. I am 24 years old, I am unemployed, I am not in school, and I have nothing to do.”
Since I started my trip, I have spoken those sentences out loud several times, on several occasions, in every city to which I’ve traveled. They’ve helped me remember, and appreciate, just how lucky I am to be here, and just how rare an experience this is. I love my current situation. I absolutely love it.
